DCIF I focusses on climate investments in developing countries (approx. 150 countries) in which Denmark has economic interests. The Danish interests defined as being either in the form of having a Danish business partner or by using Danish technology. DCIF I can invest in climate projects, including wind and solar parks, biogas plants, energy efficiency projects and upgrading of power and industrial plants. Irrigation systems and climate-friendly agricultural crops are also within the investment scope. IFU is the fund manager of DCIF I and has over 45 years of experience in developing countries. IFU has participated in close to 800 projects in 85 developing countries. |
